Konami announced Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, a card game that promises to be “the most complete Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG digital title ever.”
Unlike other Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is “completely positioned” around the trading card game more focused on the manga and anime of the franchise.
While no launch date has been revealed, it will release PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, iOS, and Android. Additionally, 4K graphics will be available on supported devices.
Nintendo Switch will also receive Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel, a new game that is set in the world of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens. Based on the card game Rush Duel available in Japan since last year, this title will allow duelists to build their decks, face Sevens characters and challenge friends and other players around the world. Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel will be released in the fall of 2021.
Konami also revealed Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel, a game for iOS and Android, “changes gameplay with dramatic four-player dueling action.”
In addition to the reveal of the new games, Konami has revealed that Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links has reached 140 million downloads worldwide, and duelists have collected more than 65 billion cards and fought six billion duels.
