Xiaomi Launches Transparent OLED TV

Last month, Xiaomi launched its first OLED TV, which is named Mi TV LUX 65 “OLED or had the title Master Series. However, Xiaomi is known to have presented a variant of Mi TV LUX OLED, which is very sophisticated and unique.

Along with the announcement of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra at Xiaomi’s 10th-anniversary celebration, Xiaomi officially announced the presence of a transparent OLED TV called Mi TV LUX OLED Transparent Edition. This TV comes with a transparent OLED screen and has a very thin thickness.

It comes with a size of 55 inches and a thickness of 5.7mm. It is known that this TV has the same model as other LUX Series TVs, it’s just that Xiaomi is now using a transparent OLED panel made by LG Display to show off this screen technology.

As information, LG is currently releasing its transparent OLED TV, which comes under the name LG Transparent OLED Signage 55EW5F-A. However, this Mi TV LUX OLED Transparent Edition comes at a cheaper price, which is around US $ 7,195.

Xiaomi claims that its TV can display a contrast ratio of up to 150,000: 1 with very sharp dark colors. Then there is a 10-bit FHD panel (1,920×1,080 pixels), which can support 93% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Xiaomi uses the MediaTek 9650 chipset with MIUI TV 3.0, which has been adapted for Smart TVs. Other features presented include Dolby Atmos support, Always-on Display, and many I / O ports.
