Microsoft has announced sixteen games that are playable with backwards compatibility on Xbox Cloud Gaming. The games are already available via Xbox Game Pass but can now also be played on your phone, for example. These games include Oblivion, Morrowind and Fallout: New Vegas.
The sixteen games come from both the Xbox and Xbox 360. The games include some classic first-party games from Microsoft and several Bethesda games recently added to Game Pass. This is, of course, possible because of the takeover of Bethesda by Microsoft. All games are playable on Android devices and streamed from the cloud.
The games that have been added to Xbox Cloud Gaming via backwards compatibility are:
- Double Dragon Neon
- Fable II
- Fallout: New Vegas
- Gears of War 2
- Gears of War 3
- Gears of War: Judgment
- Jetpac Refueled (touch controls enabled)
- Perfect Dark
- Perfect Dark Zero
- The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
- Viva Piñata (touch controls enabled)
- Viva Piñata: TIP (touch controls enabled)
Xbox Cloud Gaming is available as part of the Xbox Game Pass. If you already have that service, you can continue to play on your phone.
Earlier this month, Microsoft was able to acquire ZeniMax Media for $ 7.5 billion. As a result, quite a few Bethesda games may be available through Xbox Game Pass. It is now possible to play, for example, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion anywhere on your phone.
