Worldwalker Games, the studio behind the Wildermyth RPG, has confirmed that the game is on its way to Nintendo Switch, although it has not come up with a release date.
Nate Austin, founder of the Worldwalker studio, the news was advanced during Fanbyte’s Thanks for the Knowledge podcast. Although the episode will only be released on December 19, the site confirmed the announcement in a recent article.
Still, fans will have to wait sometime before they can play Wildermyth on Nintendo Switch. The game was developed using Java, a codebase that is not supported by the console. Due to this detail, the necessary adaptation for the Nintendo Switch could take “at least a year.”
Although it has gone somewhat unnoticed, Wildermyth has been extremely well received by players, judging by the positive ratings left on Steam, where it has a score of 95%.
Wildermyth is a procedurally generated tactical RPG where player choices have profound consequences in the story. Along their journey, players will unravel mysteries and turn simple peasants into legendary heroes.
