WhatsApp Web Now Supports Video Calls Up to 50 People

WhatsApp was recently reported to have released a new update for its WhatsApp Web service. In the update, WhatsApp users on the Web can now make video calls up to 50 people at once, which is undoubtedly very useful.

This can happen because Facebook has integrated its video conference service, Messenger Rooms, into WhatsApp Web. That is why WhatsApp Web users with version 2.2031.4 and above can try the feature.

As information, the video call feature for up to 50 people can only be accessed via WhatsApp Web. Because the WhatsApp wants to focus on supporting people who want to work using video call services on a computer/laptop.

Also, the video call service will not use the WhatsApp platform but Messenger Rooms because it is an integrated feature. So that’s why users who want to use the service will be transferred to Facebook’s Messenger service.

Surely this effort was made by Facebook so that users of its social media services like Facebook, WhatsApp, and also Instagram can make video calls more quickly through the applications that they have, respectively.

In addition to Facebook, Google also implemented the same thing. It also integrated their Google Meet service into the Gmail service to make it easier for users to make video calls.
