After a four-month wait, Watch Dogs: Legion’s online mode has finally landed on Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Stadia. Pending the release on PC, fans have asked developers to implement cross-play mode at least between different generation consoles so they can explore London with their friends, and Ubisoft’s response was not long in coming.
The online mode of Watch Dogs: Legion will, in fact, see the introduction of cross-play and cross-generation-play features soon, and therefore will allow users from all over the world to play without barriers. The publisher, however, did not disclose details on the timing so that the situation could remain unchanged for a long time.
Unlike multiplayer titles such as Fortnite, Apex: Legends, and Rocket League, in fact, Watch Dogs: Legion allows you to play only with users who have the same console, so PS4 and PS5 players cannot spend time together, as well as those in possession of the Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S versions. While waiting for more information, we invite you to look at our Watch Dogs: Legion review.
