Ubisoft has announced that the online multiplayer update for Watch Dogs Legion from its previously planned release date on December 3 to the beginning of 2021.
“As part of our commitment to fixing the game’s problems, we decided to postpone the Watch Dogs Legion online mode until early 2021,” said the developer in an update. “This will allow us to focus on fixing single-player issues and give us more time to test the online experience to help ensure a smooth launch of the mode.”
Ubisoft will release the version 2.20 update for Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia this week, which adds a manual “save game” button to the PC version and fixes additional locking issues on consoles. See patch notes here. The PlayStation 5 version of this update was released on November 19.
Watch Dogs Legion is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC via Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store, Uplay.
