IGN had the opportunity to interview the head of the online department of Watch Dogs: Legion. Jean-Pascal Cambiotti suggested that players may look for easter eggs in the new mode in a short conversation. However, when asked if the Watch Dogs: Legion of the Dead mode could grow into a standalone production, he could not give a definite answer. It all depends on what the players will want and how the new PvE game will be received.
Watch Dogs: Legion made its debut in October 2020 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The version for the new generation consoles appeared with PS5 and Xbox Series X, i.e., only in November last year.
It is worth recalling that with the upcoming update 4.5, the PS5 and Xbox Series X version of the game will receive a special “performance mode” that will boost the gameplay to 60 FPS. What’s more, partial cross-play will be debuted, which will allow owners of platforms of the same family to have fun together – this means that owners of PS4 and PS5, as well as owners of Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S, will be able to play with each other.
