Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade has been officially dead for a couple of days already. Behavior Interactive has decided to close the servers of its shooter on September 10, making it inactive and inaccessible. PvP and PvE modes are no longer playable, and the Steam client is no longer available for download.
Eternal Crusade hasn’t fared well since its launch in 2016, and the bad reviews reported the game as not living up to fan expectations despite its potential. The end of the game had already been announced in June, but two days ago, the developer decided to finally pull the plug by simply thanking the players for appreciating the title.
The game’s death has split fans in half, with some agreeing with Behavior Interactive’s decision and others regretting that they can no longer play Eternal Crusade. Over the years, the title had reached many players equal to a few hundred.
