Publisher 110 Industries and Soleil, a development studio made up of Team Ninja veterans who have worked on both Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive, have announced Wanted: Dead, a new third-person action game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC, centered around frantic gun and melee combat, set in a low tech, sci-fi version of Hong Kong.

Key team members include former Team Ninja employees who left Tecmo when Tomonobu Itagaki left in 2008. These experienced developers have worked on Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden 2, Dead or Alive, Dead or Alive 2, and Xtreme Beach Volleyball, such as producer Yoshifuru Okamoto, director Hiroaki Matsui, and planner Natsuki Tsurugai. Here are the first images of the game
As Lieutenant Hannah Stone, the leader of the “Zombie Squad” operating outside the normal powers of the police, players will have the option of engaging enemies at close range with melee attacks (including “a mechanical mutilator that modifies enemy attack patterns “) or shoot them down from a distance with guns. The uncensored teaser trailer shows Wanted: Dead is indebted to Ninja Gaiden, Bayonetta, and Devil May Cry. The game is scheduled for 2022, but there is no precise release date yet.
