Reflector Entertainment yesterday unveiled the teaser trailer for the studio’s first video game, Unknown 9: Awakening. The game forms the basis of a greater ecosystem of content built around the ambitious narrative world of Unknown 9. The studio invites you to immerse yourself in Unknown 9, with a first look at the teaser trailer of the video game scheduled for 2021.
Led by an experienced and diverse development team, Reflector’s studio created a new narrative world by announcing Unknown 9: Awakening, a third-person action-adventure game heavily based on storytelling, and giving its protagonist a first look. Haroona, as well as a taste of his Fold skills.
Raised on the streets of Kolkata, India, and haunted by visions of her death, Haroona struggles to understand her mysterious innate abilities to manipulate the invisible. A mentor soon helps Haroona hone her gift, teaching her to access the mysterious hidden dimension known as The Fold and prompting her to embark on a journey to unravel this new realm’s mysteries.
“Unknown 9: Awakening is Reflector’s first game. It’s a passionately crafted project by a small team of industry veterans who wanted to create something different,” said Alexandre Amancio, CEO of Reflector Entertainment. “Our game features a complex heroine who has to deal with who she is. The title is set in Unknown 9, a modern narrative world in which humanity is on the verge of transcendence or self-destruction.”
The larger universe of Unknown 9 features a range of content with characters and storylines that intersect to form a rich and engaging narrative world, including a thriller novel by acclaimed bestselling author Layton Green, titled Unknown 9: Genesis, an original podcast called Unknown 9: Out of Sight, and a comic, Unknown 9: Torment. These are independent products, but if lived as a whole, they form a broader narrative and allow you to appreciate the mysterious universe of Unknown 9 better.
