Ubisoft is preparing to release a reboot of the real-time strategy classic The Settlers in March and has now shared a video that details the gameplay of the entry into the franchise.
Some things remain faithful to the original The Settlers formula, such as managing each civilization’s economy and resources. Of course, there are also many new features in mechanics, such as the new units, but also the three civilizations available and the historical landmarks of the maps, which provide unique bonuses to players.
The game will also emphasize history, with a campaign that takes you through an unknown land filled with the marks of ancient civilizations lost in time.
The Settlers arrive on PC on March 17th and have a closed beta period, starting on January 20th. This beta period will be available until January 24th and has a multiplayer aspect.
