Ubisoft has postponed its next Avatar game to 2022, meaning it will arrive in the same year that James Cameron’s Avatar 2 movie will be in theaters.
This new delay for the Massive Entertainment (from The Division ) game was discussed in response to Avatar 2 in theaters until 2022. If the release date remains, it will arrive 13 years after the original film.
Ubisoft announced the new Avatar game in 2017 and revealed that Massive Entertainment is working alongside Fox Interactive and James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment studio to create the game.
The delay information was present on the same conference call that Ubisoft revealed that Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine were postponed.
