Ubisoft Officially Announces Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Remake

Through the second Ubisoft Forward event that was held this morning, Ubisoft has announced a new game called Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. Yes, this game is the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, released in 2003.

Planned to be released on January 21, 2021, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Epic Games Store, and Uplay, the Prince of Persia remake game will present a few improvements starting from the gameplay and graphics.

Because the game was developed by Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai using the Anvil engine, which is commonly used to create Assassin’s Creed game franchise.

It’s just that the announcement of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has even drawn criticism from fans. Because the graphic quality of the characters in the game is still not that good, some even say the characters’ quality looks like the games on the PlayStation 3.

Even so, the quality of the environment in the game comes with better quality. Therefore, many fans are now amazed by the game because the quality presented is inconsistent in all its elements.

However, Ubisoft promises the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake game will bring the whole story from the original Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake to the remake version. This made the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake players in 2003 feels nostalgic when playing this remake version.
