Ubisoft has several AAA games from its franchise that are still running today, and one of them is Far Cry. Previous series titled Far Cry: New Dawn, which received a variety of diverse feedback does not seem to make the franchise lovers just satisfied. At the same time, rumours circulated that the next Far Cry series will be introduced soon.
Citing Tweaktown.com, Ubisoft plans to announce Far Cry 6 at the Ubisoft Forward event officially. According to the sources of these rumours, Far Cry 6 will display a more exotic location and not be in the United States. If true, of course, this game is expected to be launched before April 2021 for the current generation and next-generation consoles. But if you see the condition of COVID-19 as it is now, maybe Ubisoft will postpone it.
The latest Far Cry is also said to be set in an exotic place, indicating that this place is a far different place from the previous series. Ubisoft itself has also surveyed Far Cry players to determine the location they want for the next game.
Unfortunately, the location for this game is still unknown. Additional information also came from the voice actor Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3 who had given a clue on Reddit, indicating that he would return.
Ubisoft has not shared much detailed information about Far Cry 6. But following the pattern of Ubisoft and existing data, the validity of this rumour is strong enough to be trusted. Well, we wait for the presence of Far Cry 6 at the Ubisoft Forward event which will announce one secret AAA game from Ubisoft which is planned to be held on July 12, 2020.
