On June 14, during the event organized to celebrate the Assassin’s Creed series anniversary, Ubisoft announced two new free DLCs are coming to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. One of these is a story epilogue made to say goodbye to Eivor after more than two years of post-launch support, additional content, and great milestones. The other is a DLC with a roguelite mode, called Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Forgotten Saga. The first will arrive at the end of the year, while the second will be released on August 2, as revealed by the new official trailer.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Forgotten Saga will allow players to venture into the four regions of Niflheim and fight unique monsters and creatures, take on even more complex and creative parkour challenges, and earn new rewards. Being a roguelite, players will have to start from the first section after each death, but they will still be able to bring with them some permanent powers unlocked during the various runs. Of course, using the items obtained during the campaign will not be possible, and you will have to rely on what will be found on the battlefield. Below you can look at the subtitled video with tips for players.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of the biggest hits in Ubisoft history, and is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. All PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can download it at no additional cost.
