Through an update message on Twitter, Creative Assembly announced the postponement of Total War: Warhammer 3 at the beginning of 2022. The game was initially scheduled for the end of this year. The developers took some extra time to get higher quality. ‘We know this is disappointing, but the additional time means we can achieve more than we could if we rush to release it this year,’ the UK study said.
The team also stressed that the next Total War: Warhammer will not be the end of the trilogy but the beginning of years of content.
“We don’t see this release as the end of our trilogy, but the start of years of content and support as we continue to bring the Games Workshop fantasy universe to Total War.”
Creative Assembly has also stated that tomorrow it will reveal Grand Cathay, one of the launch races of Total War: Warhammer 3. The game is expected on PC in 2022.
