Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will not only be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S on March 26, 2021, but will also be rolling towards Switch later in the year.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 on PS5 and Xbox Series X gets a new next-gen upgrade that includes the chance to play at 120 FPS in 1080p or native 4K at 60 FPS, spatial audio and more.
High-fidelity atmospherics are also added to the new versions. That is, it “gives players access to enjoy sharper dynamic shadows, reflections and lens flares, and improved skater textures and more on next-gen consoles.”
Digital players can upgrade to the Cross-Gen Deluxe bundle for € 10, while players already playing the Digital Deluxe version get an upgrade for free unless you live in Japan.
The upgrade includes the secret skater Ripper (the acclaimed Powell-Peralta mascot), retro gear for the Create-A-Skater mode, retro skins for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero and Rodney Mullen.
Fans on the Switch have to wait a little longer. On Twitter, they could see how Tony Hawk himself asked Crash Bandicoot to help him get the game to the Switch after Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was also released on the Nintendo platform.
