The emergence of the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) hinders various plans that have been prepared in 2020. In the video game industry itself is getting a pretty significant impact. Because several new game releases had to be postponed, and various game exhibition events were canceled.
One of them is E3 2020, which is arguably the biggest game exhibition event. In addition to E3, it turns out that the Tokyo Game Show 2020 is also one of the events awaited by game lovers this year. However, some time ago, CESA (Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association) had officially canceled the event.
Will Take Place Online
Tokyo Game Show itself is one of the biggest video game exhibition events like E3. This event was attended by gamers to find out interesting information from various game publishers.
Since it was first held 24 years ago, the Tokyo Game Show continues to develop into a bigger event each year. This game show is not only a venue for large game exhibitions, but some indie developers also attended to enliven the event.
Well recently, the CESA again announced information that the Tokyo Game Show 2020 will still be held this year, even though it must be held online. Later, the Tokyo Game Show 2020 itself will be attended by many companies, organizations, and also indie game publishers to those already famous in Japan.
Will Bring Hundreds of Game Exhibitions

Unlike the Summer Game Fest held for months, the Tokyo Game Show will only take place in one period. The audience will not be charged anything unless they want to connect with game developers to do business.
Tokyo Game Show times will be filled with online game presentations by large and small companies. In contrast, Indie game developers have to fill out forms with their game information and present gameplay through streaming video.
Even though it was held online, gamers did not wholly lose the Tokyo Game Show 2020. They will be online and free for streaming access. Two hundred exhibitions will showcase their video games through live streaming organized by the official TGS channel.
Tokyo Game Show is planned to be held on September 23-27, 2020. Until now, there is no information regarding what games will be announced at the event and what developers or publishers will participate in this event.
