The DotEmu and Tribute Games released a new gameplay trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge today (14) during the Nintendo Indie World Showcase and announced that the game would also be available for Nintendo Switch, which was expected.
In the new trailer, some of the turtle combos are shown, in addition to special moves and radical moves, while exploring areas that resemble the TMNT franchise classics, as in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time.
It was also revealed that the battles would feature the original soundtrack by Tee Lopes, a composer known for working on games like Sonic Mania, League of Legends, and Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. Lopes is now also part of the TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge team, and you can hear a little of his work in the gameplay trailer released above.
The new game also brings other game elements from the franchise, such as rivals Bebop and Rocksteady, of which players are already familiar, and the return to Dimension X. By mixing retro style with something more modern, the game promises to make success.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge does not have a release date yet, but it is coming to PC and consoles such as PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and as announced today, Nintendo Switch.
