New DLC gameplay trailer “Star Wars: Journey to Batuu” for The Sims 4

Today, EA, Maxis, and Lucasfilm reveal an exciting overview of the features available in a new gameplay presentation trailer for The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu, which arrives on the PC via Origin and Steam, Playstation 4, and Xbox One on September 8.

In The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu, players can create unique Star Wars stories with their Sims on an adventure in the far reaches of the galaxy, inspired by Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

The new trailer reveals the exciting journey set in Batuu, which offers a whole new experience for users and their Sims, and features all the authentic Star Wars sounds and images, including iconic characters like Rey and Kylo Ren.

As a new visitor to Batuu, Sims can socialize with natives to understand why Batuu is different from any other planet and learn more about the forces fighting for control. The Resistance, the First Order, and the Cafajestes aim to gain the Black Spire Warehouse’s advantage, and it is up to the players and their Sims to determine who will succeed.

Sims can choose to support Rey and Vi Moradi as part of the Resistance, pledge allegiance to Kylo Ren’s First Order, or change their focus to earn credits with Hondo Ohnaka and the Cafajestes.

As Sims embark on exciting missions, they will increase their reputations, unlock iconic artifacts, equipment, new clothing, and important story missions to influence changes in the world and shift the power balance.

Also, players can create a coveted lightsaber, customize their friendly droid to help with missions, fly on iconic starfighters, or even experience a romance with a Stormtrooper.

When Sims return home, they can even bring back some of these items, such as their lightsaber or droid and new artifacts, decor items, and recipes inspired by their travels. They can also play a game of sabacc or host a fun lightsaber training session.
