The Riftbreaker already has a release date – the factory management and tower-defense hybrid arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 14, 2021. PS4 and Xbox One gamers will receive the game in the future, without a date being advanced.
Developed by Maximum Games, The Riftbreaker combines elements from various genres. Here, players have to build and defend their base from a horde of enemies and erect defensive structures like towers and walls. To have resources for these buildings, they have to organize their base with facilities that extract and transform raw materials into usable resources.
To face the endless aliens that insist on attacking, players control a giant robot, which can use various weapons, capable of destroying everything around it, as seen in the game trailer.
Among the game’s various features, the highlight is on interactive streaming, which allows integration with the most popular platforms and allows the audience of content creators to participate in the game in various ways, sending additional resources, or to a new wave of enemies.
Note that Riftbreaker will also be available on the Xbox Game Pass as it launches on October 14.
