Ubisoft is reported to be releasing a brand new Assassin’s Creed in 2022, developed by Ubisoft Sofia with support from other Ubisoft studios around the world.
According to a new rumor from a French YouTuber, this game will be developed by Ubisoft Sofia. The studio previously worked as a support studio on the “The Curse of the Pharaohs” DLC for Assassin’s Creed Origins. They also worked on Assassin’s Creed Rogue, originally released in November 2014 for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles, while PC, PS4, and Xbox One players received Assassin’s Creed Unity from Ubisoft Montreal.
Judging by their past work, this could be a similar budget Assassin’s Creed game that follows the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC. While there are practically no details about the game at the moment, this rumor, the French YouTuber said that the release will take place in the first quarter of 2022.
