Despite the various reassurances and the presence of the game in Nintendo’s latest financial statement, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been postponed to 2023. Game Producer Eiji Aonuma announced a few moments ago in a video apologizing for the postponement and stating that the team needs a little more time to complete the work.
The new video released by Nintendo returns to show the images of E3 2021, with the comment of Eiji Aonuma, who explains how in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, the team is working hard to allow players to explore not only on the ground but also in the skies of Hyrule. Link will also be able to face new enemies, meet new characters and fight and explore in new ways, which will surely be revealed before the end of the year. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 will debut in Spring 2023 only on Nintendo Switch. Pending the title’s release, however, all Nintendo players will be able to get their hands on another highly anticipated JRPG, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, due out in September 2022.
