Last summer, GoldKnights and Prime Matter first showed The Last Oricru, a soulslike-style action RPG due out in 2022 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X / S. Despite some technical flaws, the long gameplay video released in June has captured the interest of hundreds of thousands of users. In case you can’t wait to try this intriguing experience firsthand, we have great news for you.
A few moments ago, Microsoft posted a demo of The Last Oricru on its digital store, with a release date set for December 3, 2021. The page was removed a few moments after publication, and it is possible that the official announcement will take place in the next few days, if not directly in the next few hours. It is unclear whether this was an error or not, but it is quite possible that the demo page was inserted early and removed a few seconds after publication.
The Last Oricru is described as “an action RPG with an engaging story, which will catapult players into a war between two races on a partially terraformed planet isolated by a protective barrier, in a setting that is halfway between medieval and sci-fi.” The game will allow users to create their character and participate in the conflict, creating real changes in the relationship between NPCs and modifying the story with each choice. The fights are based on the classic soulslike system, with parry, dodging, stamina control, pre-boss fog, and all the similarities we are used to, while the customization of the protagonist is quite deep, with the possibility of performing level-up, increasing your stats, change equipment, and so on.
The Last Oricru will be released in 2022 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X / S. The demo posted in the store seemed to be available only on Xbox, but PS5 and PC may also arrive.
