The Kingdom Hearts team is already working on the new title

Famitsu has published an interview with Tetsuya Nomura, game director of Kingdom Hearts, in honor of the announcement of the new Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory. An extract from the interview is particularly interesting, in which Nomura states that the team is already working on the new Kingdom Hearts.

Nomura also seems not to forget the origins of the franchise that has united Square Enix and Disney for years. ” Kingdom Hearts ‘ twentieth anniversary will be in 2022, so I’ll be working towards that anniversary,” the director said. Also important are his statements on the future of the saga, which at the moment seems to be in excellent health and will do so for a long time to come.

The "Kingdom Hearts" team is already making the next game. Whatever we announce from now, I am sure everything will be surprising and amazing. So please look forward to it.

After the announcement of Melody of Memory, whose release is scheduled for next November 13, it is already time to think about the next Kingdom Hearts.

“My mind has already switched to the next job,” Nomura said in the interview. The Kingdom Hearts team is already working on the new game. Whatever we announce from now on, I’m sure it will be magnificent and surprising.”

We are curious to know what the future of the franchise will be and what will be the next title that Tetsuya Nomura and his team will announce. In the meantime, as already mentioned, the rhythm game Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will arrive on November 13, and its release is scheduled for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
