Polish studio Starward Industries has published the first trailer of The Invincible – a game based on the novel “The Invincible” by Stanisław Lem.
The trailer shows the shots generated on the project engine. It is unclear, but most likely, the scenes from the first-person perspective are part of the cutscene that we will see in the game.
The action of the title is set in a world where digital technology has never been invented. So mankind explores the cosmos using only analog devices. Players will take on the role of Dr. Yasna, who got stuck on the surface of the mysterious planet Regis III.
The trailer shows the events from the perspective of the heroine mentioned above. The woman, against the advice of her companion – Astrogator Novik – decides to find a man who can probably help get out of the strange world.
The Invincible will be released in 2022 for PC and next-gen consoles. The project is created on the Unreal Engine, and the developers promise to emphasize the story – the plans include several narrative paths with choices and 11 endings.
