After a long and exhausting wait, Capcom has finally announced the arrival in the West of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. The game combines the two chapters released separately in Japan only on 3DS. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles will put us in the role of Ryunosuke Naruhodo, an ancestor of perhaps the most famous Phoenix Wright. The wait to get your hands on the game will not belong because it is out in July on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, via Steam.
Great news for all Phoenix Wright fans. Many had almost lost hope of seeing a Western version of The Great Ace Attorney, a spin-off saga by Phoenix Wright set in the past, starring an ancestor of the famous lawyer.
Capcom, with a message on its official website, confirmed the western release of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, a collection of the two chapters that had remained confined to Japan only. You take on the role of Ryunosuke Naruhodo as he takes his first, nervous steps in a courtroom in Meiji-era Japan to defend his first client: himself!
We will also be assisted by an extraordinary detective: Herlock Sholmes. You have not read wrong, and we have not even made mistakes; the detective is called just like that, as you can see in the image.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles will be released on July 27 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. We leave you with Shu Takumi’s video message, which also shows gameplay scenes from the game.
