Techland has announced that it is working on a next-gen console patch for the first Dying Light.
Originally released in 2015, the game will harness the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S power to improve performance. It is a good incentive to replay it or discover it for the first time before its early sequel arrives next year.
The message, published in the official Twitter account, is not specified if the patch will offer 4K and 60FPS resolution (although it seems most likely) and only says that “We’re currently working on a next-gen patch for Dying Light 1 – more details coming in the future. “
Dying Light 2: Stay Human is scheduled for next February 22, 2022, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
