The first of The Elder Scrolls Online’s six paid expansions, Morrowind, is now free. Bethesda has decided to give away the first extra chapter in the history of TES Online to allow users to arrive prepared for High Isle, the sixth and final expansion coming in June. Morrowind should be accessible once you log in, but if not, Bethesda explains that it is enough to go to the Crown Store to redeem the expansion at no cost.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind launched on January 31, 2017, and in addition to allowing you to explore the gigantic region, it includes a new portion of the story, new missions, PvP modes, a new class, and explorable areas for a total of at least 100 hours additional game. This content has always been available for pre-payment or ESO Plus subscribers, but starting today can also be redeemed free by users without a premium subscription.
The Elder Scrolls Online recently updated with the rich Ascending Tides DLC, and in June, players will be able to access the new High Isle expansion. The game will continue to receive updates and DLCs in the future, as long as the fanbase wants it.
