2022 Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley will star in The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me, the fourth installment of The Dark Pictures Anthology video game series and the last of Season 1, after Man of Medan, Little Hope, and House of Ashes. Supermassive Games developers announced moments ago, also showing the game’s first poster.
The Devil in Me will mark the conclusion of the first season of the anthology The Dark Pictures, which will continue in 2023 with the first of five other chapters, which together will make up Season 2. Jessie Buckley, nominated for the 2022 Academy Award in the category “Best Actress supporting character, “will be the star of the game and continues the tradition of the great actors chosen by Supermassive Games after Rami Malek, Shawn Ashmore, Will Poulter, and Ashley Tisdale.
The plot of the new chapter is described by Bandai Namco as follows: “The troupe of a documentary receives a mysterious invitation to visit the reproduction of the” Castle of Death “by HH Holmes, the first American serial killer. The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me will debut in 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. We remind you that in June, before the launch of the game, The Quarry, another horror experience signed by Supermassive Games, will also be released.
