Supermassive Games recently announced The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me, the fourth installment of the horror series The Dark Pictures Anthology after Man of Medan, Little Hope, and House of Ashes. The new horror adventure will bring young protagonist Kate Wilder, played by Oscar-nominated actress Jessie Buckley, inside a “castle of death” with a television crew. It will mark the end of Season 1 of the anthology. A little while ago, the unofficial release date finally popped up, November 30, at least according to the Lumia Updates dataminer.
The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me had been included only a few weeks ago in the PlayStation database, with a release date set for October 21; Supermassive Games would have opted for an internal postponement. According to what was declared by Lumia Updates and other dataminer, the new release date is November 30. Fortunately, we will not have to wait long to find out the truth since Bandai Namco has confirmed that it will bring The Devil in Me to Gamescom 2022 at the end of August.
The first part of The Dark Pictures Anthology will conclude with the fourth chapter. Season 2 is expected to kick off in 2023 with the first of five new video games, namely Directive 8020, The Craven Man, Winterfold, 0 Death, and Intercession.
