The Callisto Protocol

According to its author Glen Schofield, striking Distance Studios will return to show The Callisto Protocol this week or by Friday, May 20. The Director has posted several updates on the state of the game in recent weeks, stating that the studio is practically ready for a new presentation, and now fans finally have a window to mark on the calendar.

The Callisto Protocol was shown for the first and last time during The Game Awards 2020, and the author’s latest posts suggested a new trailer arriving during the Summer Game Fest 2022, a little over a year and a half after its first appearance. Glen Schofield has revealed on Twitter that fans will have to be less patient than expected as the studio has a surprise slated for this week.

“If you don’t follow The Callisto Protocol ‘s page on Twitter yet, it’s a good time to start,” reads the author’s latest tweet dated May 13, “as new information will arrive next week. Until then, you can take a look at a picture of one of the creatures designed by our incredible team. Get ready!.” At the moment, we don’t know what kind of updates are planned for this week. Still, given that the game is in the post-production phase, it is reasonable to expect at least a teaser trailer, if not directly the confirmation of the presence of the game at the Summer Game Fest on June 9.

If you don’t already follow @CallistoTheGame now might be a good time to start. Look for some news next week.  Until then, here’s a closeup of one of the creatures from our world class character team.  They’re incredible.  Happy Friday the 13th!  Get ready! pic.twitter.com/u9xDxJ4CbC
