The Callisto Protocol

Glen Schofield, an author of Dead Space and the new next-gen horror The Callisto Protocol, has posted new concept art of the game on his Twitter profile, stating that “it’s almost time for the presentation.” The Game Director had teased players a few weeks ago by stating that new information would be coming soon, and just like last time, presenter Geoff Keighley responded to the tweet with an emoticon that leaves little room for doubt.

The Callisto Protocol was announced during The Game Awards 2020, with the first trailer presented by Glen Schofield. Over the past year and a half, the guys at Striking Distance have been working hard to create a “single-player horror video game for next-gen with a strong narrative component and the ability to terrify players,” and now the team is finally ready to show the fruits of their work.

In June, Geoff Keighley’s tweet unofficially confirms that the game will be present at the Summer Game Fest 2022. The event dates have not been revealed, but we can expect a new trailer of the game with gameplay and release date, as the author has confirmed that the work is almost completed and that the title is in post-production.
