Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, the scrolling fighting game successor to the great classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of the late 1980s, could debut June 16, 2022, on consoles and PC. The release date was unveiled in advance by the PlayStation database, and although it cannot be ruled out that it is a simple placeholder, it is still a very realistic launch date for several reasons.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge was announced as a surprise in March 2021, and only last April, Tribute Games and DotEmu had revealed that the launch would take place during the summer of 2022. Now, publisher DotEmu has appeared on the list of attendees at Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest 2022 event, so it’s highly likely that a new trailer with the release date will be shown during the showcase on June 9. June 16 is just two weeks from now and a week from the event and is certainly a plausible date for release on consoles and PC.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is an old-fashioned scrolling brawler designed to tribute Konami’s iconic beat’em up series.
