Through the IFA 2020 event currently being held in Berlin, TCL has announced its new screen technology called TCL NXTPAPER. This screen is known to be present for later use in future tablets.
Why the future? Because the screen technology announced by TCL is not an ordinary screen technology such as LCD or OLED, it is known that TCL has succeeded in presenting a screen with a paper-like texture and can produce a variety of colors.
Called a combination of screen and paper, TCL said that this screen could display Full-HD resolution content. Although it is said to be similar to a color e-ink screen, TCL says that the NXTPAPER technology can display content without flicker at all.

Currently, most e-ink screens still have shortcomings such as limited color, low refresh rate, low resolution, and others. But TLC can overcome all of these shortcomings on this screen.
Because it is included in the e-ink screen, of course, this NXTPAPER screen made by TCL is very safe for the user’s eyes because this type of screen does not have any blue light at all because of the screen utilizes the surrounding light.
In addition, using a screen like this can certainly save battery power so that TCL can make devices that use this screen last even longer. It is known that currently, this screen technology has been used in the TCL 10 TABMAX and TCL 10 TABMID tablets.
