The wait is getting longer for those who can’t wait to get their hands on Tchia, the indie game developed by Awaceb: originally expected by the end of 2022, the adventure will be available in early 2023 after the official announcement by the development team, who need the extra time to be able to “make the best game possible.”
A small delay for Tchia, the colorful Awaceb game that conquered everyone during its original reveal at The Game Awards 2020 event: with a post on Twitter, the independent software house revealed the need to move the launch window to succeed in the purpose of refining the gaming experience and thus reaching the predetermined level.
Awaceb explained that the additional time will allow the studio to refine some aspects of the game that do not fully convince the developers yet.
Thanking the community for the support shown over the years, the development team took the opportunity to show a new video dedicated to marine exploration (both aboard a raft and exploring the ocean floor), teasing fans with the promise of a new revelation of the game, confirming that “we have many interesting things to show” in the path that will lead to the launch of Tchia.
In this sense, a new appearance of the game during the upcoming Summer Game Fest 2022 event or the talked about showcase that Sony will hold to unveil the news coming out on PlayStation 5 should not be excluded.
