Tales of Arise recently won the “Best RPG of the Year” award at The Game Awards 2021, and given the game’s strong sales, it’s common for Bandai Namco to continue to support the experience with monthly updates. The latest patch, released worldwide on December 14, introduces the long-awaited last-gen to next-gen save transfer, plus a host of small, all-out improvements.
As for the data transfer, after downloading the 1GB update, a new option is introduced in the title screen menu, called “Load saves.” PS4 and Xbox One users can use it to upload their saves to the online server, then download them later on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. PlayStation Trophies are carried over along with saves, while Xbox Achievements must be won back from scratch.
Other new features of the 1.04 update include the possibility of removing the DLC curtain while resting at the bonfires and general stability improvements. In addition, some bugs that occurred during battles with the Zeugles have been fixed. Below, you can look at the patch notes directly from the official Bandai Namco website.
