Techland has announced that Dying Light 2 on Nintendo Switch will have to be delayed.
While all game versions remain scheduled for release on February 4, 2022, as initially planned, the cloud version scheduled for Nintendo’s hybrid will not hit the markets until about six months after the release of the remaining versions.
According to the press release, ” Techland aims to deliver the game to the Nintendo Switch family of consoles within an estimated period of six months from the originally stipulated release date .”
The studio justified the date change because they want to improve the game so that it meets the level that players deserve and that Techland intends to deliver.
The open-world shooter has already undergone many date changes since it was revealed in 2018, during E3. It will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
