With a new trailer unveiled at the DC FanDome event, Rocksteady Studios has further looked at the highly anticipated Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. This new action video game will expand the universe created by the London software house with the Batman: Arkham series. The video reiterated the release by the end of 2022 without confirming an official launch date.
Among the first hits of the new edition of the DC FanDome conference, there was also space for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a new project from the authors of the Batman: Arkham series, Rocksteady Studios.
The video, which you can discover below, will allow players to follow Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang in the enterprise entrusted to Task Force X by Amanda Waller: to kill the Justice League.
Suppose in last year’s trailer we had only glimpsed Superman on this occasion. In that case, we see other members of the Justice League: Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and a mysterious Dark Knight aboard a new version of the Batmobile.
The trailer also showcases Penguin, a villain already admired in the Batman: Arkham saga, and gives us a taste of what could be one of the storylines of the new project, with John Stewart’s Green Lantern, apparently corrupted along with Barry Allen’s Flash and Superman.
The trailer finally confirmed that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released by the end of 2022, despite the arrival of Gotham Knights (the co-op action game in development at the studio WB Games Montréal) expected in the same period. If confirmed, it could be a really big year for DC Comics comic lovers.
