Street Fighter V Champion Edition will welcome Luke, the latest DLC character included in the Season 5 package, on November 29, 2021. The post-launch support for Capcom’s fighting game is, therefore, ready to end after five years and as many Season Passes, with a total of thirty DLC characters and an avalanche of costumes, arenas, and extra missions.
Luke was presented with a dedicated showcase, in which some information about his past and his fighting style was revealed. As a child, Luke experienced a traumatic event that appears to have led to his father’s death and began training to follow in the footsteps of the father figure, enlisting in the army and meeting Guile.
Luke’s fighting style involves mixed martial arts, with several shots from kickboxing and boxing useful to constantly put pressure on the opponent. Still, in his arsenal, there are also different types of ranged attacks. Below you can take a look at his main moves, starting at minute 2:30.
All Season Pass 5 owners will be able to download Luke at no additional cost. In the same package are offered Dan, Eleven, Oro, Akira, and Rose. Capcom has confirmed that the one in question is the latest DLC character but that the game will still receive new updates in the future, including a Battle Balance update and a Capcom Pro Tour 2022 package in March 2022.
