Stray, Annapurna Interactive’s new cyberpunk feline adventure, will be released on July 19 on PS4, PS5, and PC and will require all players to download two pretty full day-one patches before starting the story. The developers of BlueTwelve Studios have updated the game to versions 1.01 and 1.02, introducing several important fixes and improvements which will make the experience more immersive and orderly on day one. The estimated weight is 5.7 GB on PS5 and 12/13 GB on PS4, while there is no information on the PC version yet.
The PlayStation database anticipates that the two updates will be one, directly bringing Stray to version 1.02. The “patch notes,” as the team nicely calls them, anticipate that the updates will include several improvements to the audio and gameplay footage and the collision system. Among other things, adjustments to localization and graphics are also reported, as well as greater performance stability. Many bugs, therefore, have been fixed even before launch, ensuring a more immersive experience for the more than eight hours of gameplay promised by the team.
Stray will only be available from July 19 on PS4, PS5, and PC. If you subscribe to PS Plus Extra and Premium, the new PlayStation Plus subscription tiers, you will be happy to know that you can download Stray at no additional cost on day one.
