Sony would be preparing a new State of Play event centered on the PS VR2 headset. To share the news Nick Baker, aka Shpeshal Nick, the founder of XboxEra, who just a few days ago shared a preview of numerous video leaks of The Last of Us: Part 1. According to what was declared by the insider, his source confirmed that at the moment, the plans are that of a State of Play in August, but there is always the possibility that the date will be moved to September.
With God of War: Ragnarok at the gates, the most sensible choice should be that of a State of Play dedicated to the game, in the style of Hogwarts Legacy. However, it is necessary to remember that in recent months, several rumors have sprung up regarding the presentation of PlayStation VR2, potentially coming out at the beginning of 2023 and, at the moment, not yet shown to the public. Fans eagerly await new information on the headset, and the time is certainly ripe for an in-depth look at the hardware and the more than 20 first-party and third-party games promised by Sony.
In all cases, August is the most popular month, although there is always the possibility of a postponement to September. We will hardly hear the news in the next few days, but an announcement dated after Gamescom 2022 is realistic.
