Star Wars Republic Commando will return to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and Aspyr Media will take care of the port’s work. For the occasion, the release date of the title and an announcement trailer was revealed.
Star Wars Republic Commando, the first-person shooter made by Activision and LucasArts, released in 2005, will return to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in a few weeks. The announcement was accompanied by an official trailer.
The title tells the story of the Delta Team leader, or Delta 38, in a single-player campaign that unfolds in key moments in the Star Wars universe, such as Geonosis and Kashyyyk’s battles.
Porting the Aspyr Media studio, which said it had “faithfully recreated the original game atmosphere, added some modern touches to the experience. The controls have been adapted to best use with the Dualshock 4 and DualSense ( clearly the game is usable in backward compatibility on PlayStation 5), as well as new trophies to unlock during the adventure “.
