Star Ocean: The Divine Force is shown in a new gameplay trailer, due out in October on consoles and PC

Announced last October during Sony’s Autumn State of Play, Star Ocean: The Divine Force has finally returned to show itself in an information-packed gameplay trailer, which also revealed the release date on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC (Steam). The last chapter of the long-running action RPG series, which began in 1996 with the first Star Ocean and continued for twenty-six years with eleven chapters, including main releases, final versions, and spin-offs, will be released on October 27, 2022, in Japan, both in the physical and digital edition.

Star Ocean: The Divine Force is an Action RPG halfway between fantasy and sci-fi developed by Tri-Ace and published by Square Enix; and will tell the story of two heroes who must work together to save the world. The story begins with Raymond, one of the two protagonists, awakened on an unknown planet after having performed an emergency landing with his spaceship and with Laeticia, the second protagonist and princess of the Kingdom of Aucerius. They will decide to join forces with him after helping him recover. The game will be full of playable characters, planets to explore, and enemies to defeat and will have a deep and curated narrative. Below you can take a look at the new trailer.
