STALKER 2 was announced on the Xbox Games Showcase tonight. The latest game from GSC Gameworld will be released on Xbox Series X as an exclusive console launch and also a PC.
The Ukrainian developer released a new trailer; unfortunately, there is no gameplay that they can show.
Through the blog post released by the developer, STALKER 2 will become an open-world game bigger than the three previous series. The game will also offer factions and monsters that fans remember from this franchise but with the help of new technology that makes them more alive than ever. Players’ decisions will be the key to STALKER 2. The game will have branching stories that depend on the choices that players make during their adventure.
STALKER 2 was initially canceled in 2011 but was resurrected back in 2018 with the developer releasing their first teaser. Now the game is planned for release along with the launch of the Xbox Series X.
