Waiting to be able to relive the adventures of Joker and companions in Persona 5 Royal, out on October 21 on Xbox and PC after a wait of years, Atlus signed another promising JRPG before the end of the summer. Soul Hackers 2, the third installment of the Devil Summoner series born as a spin-off of Shin Megami Tensei, will be available worldwide starting August 26, and today the Japanese studio shared information on PC requirements and expected performance on the next-gen consoles.
As for PC requirements, we’re not talking about anything prohibitive, with just 8GB of RAM required to run the game smoothly. An Intel Core i5-3470 or an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 is recommended as a processor, while a GeForce GTS 450 or a Radeon HD 5770 is sufficient for the video card to meet the minimum requirements. Atlus has confirmed that it will be possible to enable V-sync and manage the anti-aliasing filter, shadow quality, ambient occlusion, and rendering scale.

On PS5 and Xbox Series X, Soul Hackers 2 can count on two graphics settings: Resolution (4K / 30fps) and Performance (60fps). The resolution has not been revealed in the second case, but it is likely to be 1440p. Atlus has not revealed anything regarding PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S, but we assume that the first two do not go beyond 30 fps, while the third will probably have only one graphics setting with a slightly lower resolution and 60fps.
Soul Hackers 2 will only be available from August 26 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. You can learn more about the game by checking out the latest trailer.
