Last year, Sony responded to the pandemic by launching the Play At Home initiative. It was a way to encourage all of us to stay home and have fun with access to free content. This included free downloadable copies of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey.
This year, a different entertainment option will be offered. From March 1, the PS4 Ratchet & Clank game will be available for download and to keep at all times. Just make sure you get it before March 31st where the offer ends. And instead of a second free game, Sony decided to offer extensive free access to Funimation, which lets you watch up to 13,000 hours of anime.
The Funimation offer starts on March 25 and extends the standard free 14-day trial by 90 days, providing a total of 104 days of free access. Just download the Funimation app if it is located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. If you are elsewhere in Western or Northern Europe, the same offer is available through the Wakanim app. Please note that a subscription will start automatically at the end of the extended free trial, which in the US costs $ 7.99 per month.
These are the only offers announced by Sony for the second round of the Play At Home initiative. Do not forget that Ratchet & Clank: Rifts Apart has a release date, and fortunately, we will have it available this year.
