Skull & Bones, Ubisoft’s new multiplayer pirate video game, has been the victim of several leaks over the past few months. A stolen gameplay video of the game was shown last April, and in recent weeks the rankings of several countries, including South Korea, Brazil, and the United States, have arrived, with insider Tom Henderson even teasing the arrival of a presentation event set for early July. Henderson has responded to another insider’s tweet, confirming that the game will be released on November 8, 2022 and that Ubisoft’s announcement will come soon.
In its latest financial statement, Ubisoft stated that Skull & Bones would be released on consoles and PCs before the end of the fiscal year 2022/23 or before March 31. The date revealed by Lumia Updates and confirmed by Henderson is certainly plausible because the French studio is expected to hold an event dedicated to the game next month and a Ubisoft Forward at the beginning of the fall season. There is currently no confirmation, but we can believe this information credible given Tom Henderson’s track record.
Skull & Bones is one of the most important Ubisoft video games of recent times, both for the production cost, over 120 million dollars, and for the long development times that have kept hundreds of employees busy. Fans have been waiting for information on the game for more than four years, and we’ll soon find out whether or not the wait pays off.
