Skull & Bones was once again postponed, with Ubisoft confirming the launch window between 2022 and 2023.
The postponement was confirmed through Ubisoft’s latest account report for 2020. The company underlined the game catalog it plans to launch in 2021, with names including Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Quarantine, Rider Republic, The Division Heartland, and Roller Champions, having also taken the opportunity to mention the postponement of Skull & Bones.
Skull & Bones was originally announced at E3 2017, with an expected release date of 2018. After some time, it was the victim of successive postponements, with its release date being moved to 2019, then to 2020 and 2021.
Ubisoft decided to invest more resources in the game with a troubled development, having expanded the development team, assuming a new vision for the game.
Ubisoft’s Singapore studio was responsible for the development of Skull & Bones, with the help of subsidiaries in Berlin, Chengdu, Kyiv, Paris, and the Philippines.
